There will be no progress thread. The right one is going to be turned into a gaming seat. Since you can sit in it, have the lip act as a miniature backrest, and the bent lip as a spot for your legs.

The Motordyne ISO spacer maybe, but still, that thing is expensive.
People just automatically assume "you get what you pay for" automatically means that if you buy the most expensive thing on the market, you're getting the best, but in many cases you're spending a lot of extra money for a tiny difference.

The Skunk2 is poorly designed. It's 5/8 which is way too big, and you lose almost all your bottom end torque.

This one is 3/8, which is extremely close to 5/16... actually much closer than the 1/2 that motordyne also sells, and not "angled" (z1 makes a 3/8 angled, that's no-bueno)

Provided it's 3/8 straight, and you're comparing it to a motordyne basic 5/16, there's a negligible difference.

I couldn't see paying $50 more for a composite gasket, I live in AZ so I bypassed the coolant line to the throttle body to reduce heat, the cooper heater is pointless in our climate. I plan on buying a used plenum and intake to port match later, I'll buy one of the MD gasket when I get to that point, I think they are $30. I'm happy with the gains, the car runs the same as it did before the spacer driving around and in traffic, it feels a little stronger from 4000 rpm to redline. I'm sure it will feel even better when I add the HR Y-pipe and new mid pipe.

Easy fix for sure. A little seafoam should do the trick!

Nope.

Some mercedes side swiped his car, bending both driver side wheels and damaging the body. It's being repaired right now.
