The look what I bought thread
Air suspension is duckets, those are 2 large investments. You'll have to be rolling pretty hard to pull off a combination of Engine bay, Air, and SC. I'm trying to keep engine bay just tidy, and maintain it's function>form status. It already looks ok, just not super-specacular like some dudes be on here, madness!
I'm spending my money on interior work before I touch engine stuff to any extent. Put the money somewhere you'll use it, IMO. I'll eventually tidy it up, polish the SC, get a Kinetix SSV, etc. For now just keeping the cover on.
If I had a 350Z I'd be all over the engine bay, because ugly from factory.

Notice how the main harness goes around the front, over the timing cover. I just removed all the zip tied spots and basically flipped it over so that it wraps around the backside behind the plenum. lol. If you just do that, it takes like 5 minutes. I just figured since i was there, I'd cut up the plastic shroud and reroute some of the stuff individually. I still didn't complete it all though. You can see on the passenger side of mine, some wiring that I didn't tuck because I ran out of time and had to use my car. But it's still very simple.
If you can afford to have the down time on your car (not long at all), it's an interesting thing to do yourself.

As for the side harnesses, for the passenger side, there's a hole by the battery section that routes it beneath the fender. For the driver side, I drilled a hole in the strut tower part which is covered by a RHD batt cover. This is where the DIY told me to drill it. I believe the thread was made by kennymo, but it only covered the sides. The rest I had to figure out as I went. But the fact that my dumbazz was able to do it regardless should show how easy it is.

we should have a prank thread.
i don't even do them much but my best one, if it even was a prank was when my friend called me up and said he needed a ride. he was at a super busy bus stop in the city, with probably 100+ students from the nearby college waiting nearby. so of course, i accept his request. i roll up in my beater (my g cant make it to the city lol), windows down, blasting carly rae jepsens Call Me Maybe on max volume. I kid you not, you could hear it from far away. he even said he was wondering for like 10 seconds which idiot was playing it before i finally showed up. I made sure to stop right in the damn middle of the bus stop and told him to get in. he shook his head in a "aww *** my life" look and got in. tons of people were laughing their azz off, and a couple people even started singing along.
also, my friend isn't some scrawny little guy. he's a pretty husky dude with a beard and some tattoos. so you can picture that getting in a junker playing call me maybe. ultimate trollololo
i hope he wont do the same lol, so now i avoid asking for rides.
