My floor mats were soooo dirty. Cleaned them up a bit with Woolite Oxy cleaner then used some fabric paint and rather than buying new carpet decided to paint em black. Came out great! Only did the rear mat, will do the fronts once they dry.

Thanks Marcus.

Most def looks OEM david. My buddy did it with his camry so I figured I'd try it out. If it didn't come out right I was going to get black mats anyway. I might do my headliner as well since it's out. All depends on how much getting it wrapped and fiber optic lighting put in it will cost.

Nicely done Levon! One of the guys in our car-club did the seats in his 88 300ZX. They came out really good too.

What product did you use?

Thanks! And thank you as well, Jorge. Here's what I used.

Got it from Kragen

^Yeah buddy! Same thing Dennis used on the Z's seats.
Also the same thing I used on my door pulls (in the matte version)

Me and the guys call it "Idiot Paint" because even a complete idiot can use it and still get good results

I'm going to do it probably. I'm gonna go to an upholstery shop and find out how much they want to charge for wrapping it in black and adding fiber optic lighting. If the cost is more than I'm expecting, I'll hold off on it for now and paint the headliner with this stuff.

^Hey, might as well, If you're going to replace the headliner eventually anyway.

The only thing that would concern me though, is if the propellant might cause the headliner fabric to turn loose :/

By spray painting? Hmmm...didn't think about that. I think it'd be fine. If not, then I'll take it off and spray paint whats under the fabric black lol. Then when time comes i'll do my headliner project.

Now I need to figure out how to hook up two amps, one for a temp POS sub and one for my components so I can have some audio goin in. Thing is, I heard it's better to tap into the head unit early on rather than by the bose amp. I'm so clueless how to do that, I just wish a head unit, processor, and jdm dash kit weren't so expensive altogether.

^I hear you there man $$$ adds up quick!

I've got a 4ch amp, RF mono amp and JL sub that I haven't even hooked up because the stock HU sucks and I haven't been able to do the HU setup I want because I've been buying other things...

I might just go ahead and hook it up soon though, idk.
