You guys...no appreciation until you get what you want I swear.
Here are my first vids - I'm no expert at making these, so I just tried to copy the others I've seen.
Anyway, a few vids (links since I don't think I can embed here):
Start/Idle/Rev:
Launch (terrible since there were security guards trolling the area):
In cabin (70mph, 4th & 5th):

Not yet...I will probably need some help with the camera work on those. Any thoughts on a good place for WOT testing?
vids sound pretty good. a little bit of rasp at the start of the first vid but it went away pretty quickly. i love hearing the VQ rumble
I will probably give it a few hundred more miles to see if there is any sort of break in period; then I should be able to post up some WOT vids as well. I want to see them just as much as anyone else since I only hear my car from one place.
So just a quick update after running this for a couple weeks: the sound is definitely getting better and what little drone there was is going away. I had it up on the highway this weekend, and the only drone you get is accelerating up a hill. If you drop to 4th at around 75mph, it completely goes away and just sounds like a hearty growl. Very nice. So far, I haven't noticed anyone looking at me from other cars, so hard to tell what it sounds like from outside.
I think the rasp everyone refers to (although I do not hear it) might have to do with the stock y-pipe (2.5" outlet?) going into the 3" y-back. Again, I'm looking to replace the stock y but awd really limits your options.

Nice, glad to see your still liking the exhaust.
Would it be too much to ask if you could update up with some more vids.
Reving at much higher rpms would be ideal..
maybe one accelerating from stop to WOT
thanks

^I spent about an hour today re-reading your posts to that effect over in "Finally the sedan gets some lovin" and looking at my car to confirm it won't fit. Breaks my heart. I guess the only option now is HR y and HFCs....
^Really?lol damn that was a while back. Yea it sucks i was really looking forward to going all "motordyned" out. There is no way im just having a y-back exhaust though.
I sticked to my current set-up and just went for looks, sometimes i wish i had a rwd. We're limited on pratically everything besides looks.

^Well, I read that thread all the way through when I was looking at this exhaust. I just keep re-reading it in hopes that somehow reality will change and the XYZ will fit the AWD. I too sometimes question my decision to go for the X.
^^Next Best I will try to make some vids per your request. Revving in the parking lot is only okay since the engine sounds different under heavy load. Not that easy to get a good 0-60 run on public roads in North Jersey but I'm willing to give it a go in the name of science
