You're probably right.

It also makes a difference how much you bow it and how far back you mount it.

Also, how do you attach it to the car?

What type of adhesive did everyone use?

^It comes with a very strong mounting tape pre installed on the bottom of the lip.

ok i played with the left side a little bit and i got it 99% perfect

now I'm wondering is 1166 is more perfect?

I think these are all gonna be a little different - I would imagine the tolerance is gonna be a mm or so... so even if you order 1165, one might be a little shorter than another...

Also, as stated, the curve and how far back it's set will make it look a little different.

Just mold it in and it'll be bueno!

I thought about that too. +/- 1mm is a pretty small margin for error.

Just mold it in and it'll be bueno!
How did I somehow KNOW you were going to say that???

1165 is great but you have a hard time countouring it and playing with it to get it flush on both sides. I think 1166 or 1167 would be automatic flush

I put on an 1165 today from oem.thing and it's a bit short on each side. I'm not even certain it is 1165 but I'm happy with it. It goes really well with the lines of the tailights on an 03 sedan.
