eh, i think GM trim would be too matchy-matchy. if anything, i'll black it out. will prob keep as is for a bit, just in case i go back to gold rims w/polished lip again.

black or bodycolor would work too

Would you please describe how the trunk feels and operates when opening and closing it?
For instance, does it pop up super quickly; does it slam really hard; did you remove a damper (and if so, is it lopsided?); etc.? How would you rate the daily usability of the trunk? I am a big trunk-use person, and need easy and smooth operation.

trunk is super light, even w/only one damper. shuts solid, functions perfectly.

I would take the trunk if it's light but without a doggy door.

how much does the OEM one weigh compared to it?

Strafe's doing a sale on their left-over doggie door version, you could use the money you save to shave out the door.

the OEM one weighs a ton in comparison, literally a one hand carry vs a two.
