Strafe CF sedan hood & trunk lid
Okay, so i've had these parts on my car for a lil' while now, so i thought i'd share my experiences. The carbon weave is really good, i didn't realize how good until i saw some other CF bits on other cars @ EAF. Super light weight but very solid feeling. As for fitment, 10 being Custom and 9 being OEM, i'd say 8 for both of these. my hood would fit a lot better w/hood pins and if i had a lower front strut bar(in the works) and i'm pretty sure w/the right amount of tweaking the trunk could fit like OEM. it's funny because i really wanted to paint these at first but now the look is starting to really grow on me. i think i'll rock them for a bit, as is. these parts really get me a lot of attention. even though i've had a good amount of "go fast" bits, i didn't really get much play from the "boy racer" crowd. now, i get mad look's from EVO's to IS-F's. one of my like 50yr old neighbors even took the time to compliment me and ask me where i got the trunk & hood. i really love the way the molded lip flows w/the lines of the car and the hood really gives my front end a whole new attitude. all in all, i'm very happy w/these Strafe products and would recommend them to anyone looking to really take their ride to another level. honestly "clean" get's you a lot of play on 'Driver but "aggressive" is what get's the attention in the real world. i know this look isn't for everyone, but for those of you who are on the fence, here's a lil' nudge in the right direction. big thanks to Lawrence & Dustin over @ Strafe for doing something different for the sedan crowd and the continued support.
on to the pics...
i know my car could use more "low" but i need the ground clearance. i'll go lower if i get 20's. in the meantime imma go 255/35/19 upfront next time Vs the current 245/35/19.
Updates - 2010 Aug 31; everything's holding up great, removed my strut bar for better hood clearance/fitment, get compliments daily, hood pins coming soon.

I got to examine these parts up close at EAF SD, here are my thoughts (for whatever they are worth...haha):
Trunk - Lines of the trunk are great. I would describe it as mildly aggressive. Spoiler is sized just right. The fitment is very good for an aftermarket trunk. The passenger side sat a tad higher than the drivers side. With some adjustment I'm sure the fitment could be dialed in. I would definitely prefer a non doggy door version, I was told that is in the works.
Hood - Top Secret design FTW!! Hood looks so mean, love it. The drivers side sat just a tad higher than the passenger side. Mark plans to install hood pins, which should help the drivers side come down just a bit.

the carbon parts look nice.. even the doggy door is pretty cool.
only thing i'm not feeling is the vinyl roof... really throws off the flow of the real carbon look.
since you're in socal you should take advantage of one of the shops that does real cf roof overlays. dal35's turned out excellent
