Any reason you didn't go dual projectors??
Thanks Tim.

These are dual projectors. I didn't go with quads for a number of reasons: 1. These lights were already "done" by IvoryGT, 2. Additional cost of adding projector to the top, 3. After talking with IvoryGT I didn't want to tackle the huge project of adding a projector on the top which would add cost and time and I could potentially screw up the headlights since I've never done anything like this before., 4. Quads are the sickness but honestly since these are bi-xenon they have all the functionality I need from projectors. From what I've heard from Tim (ttrank) he doesn't even turn his S2Ks on that often. No since in my doing all of that extra work and spending more money to an already expensive project if I wasn't going to use the top lights that often.

Man I bet the output is night and day marcus, our stock headlights are really inferior.

Haha, thanks Aaron. Yeah the light output is a huge difference and I haven't even driven my car when its been really dark yet. Just pulling into my garage I noticed the difference. I still need to take the time to aim them, the cutoff is a little low and doesn't line up yet. I'll work on that this week then get some output pictures up.

I totally understand and it's good to know the difference between dual and quads. I just assumed dual were the 2 separate light housings. Always good to learn something new and remind me I'm still a relative noob around here. It sounds like the dual is all you need at this point. However, the quads are the sickness from an appearance standpoint so it wouldn't surprise me if they are another mod in your future, either near or far.

I wonder what it would look like with a yellow DS2 bulb at the top?

^I've been busy with other stuff, haven't even gotten a chance to aim them yet. I don't drive my car at night, so that's why I'm in no rush. I'll try and get to it next week.

^I have a truck as a DD that I drive to work most days out of the week. I usually only drive my car to work one or two days a week and its during the day. If I'm out at night its usually running errands (grocery shopping, etc.), which I don't take the G to do because it usually involves going into parking lots and over speedbumps...LOL.

^If I had 2K laying around that is nice chunk to put towards a Vortech or Turbo, which I would rather have. For now I just park on the street.

Plus if I got bags I'd have to get some negative offset wheels.

Why are the projectors located on the bottom of the headlight vs the top that's already used for use? Only reason I can think of is the room to mount these projectors that might of been an issue. Also what type of projectors are these? I have some very nice FX-Rs w/ clear lens swap already sitting in my closet. Your car looks even better with this useful mod!
