^If you've read his post, you'd find that he used the projectors/shrouds from a second gen sedan. I also believe he got the STi-R lens for them.

Missed his first top half post. My bad. Still wondering why it was mounted on the bottom vs top. Just curious.

I can think of two reasons. 1) Looks better. 2)Projector spacing problem.

Thanks man, there is more space on the bottom and the round shape is easier to do a retrofit in versus the "fan" shape on top. Originally Posted by petro2342

Alan is correct, they are 2nd gen Sedan projectors with an STi-R clear lens swap.

Yea that's what I thought, but also thought it was preference. Still looks good none the less. I ask this because sometime this year before winter I'll do mine. I got everything but new headlights and bolts and crap.

Any chance on getting a build on the retrofit? I've been wanting to do one of these for forever.

looks great. i'd also love to do one of these, but I really have no idea how to securely mount projectors in the housings and have them look good.

Just saw your post. Looks great, and glad to see that the clear lens swap was doable.
Those really make your sedan stand out.
You can always go with 50W ballasts with 50W bulbs if you ever want more light output without trying to put in another pair of projectors.

^Thanks for all your help with this project Albert. Great suggestion on the 50W ballasts and bulbs. Would the 50W ballasts mount easily in the OEM location?

RRYDE opened up my headlights and fixed the leds yesterday, thanks Randy!
One of the wires had come loose and was touching the metal part of the projector causing my fuse to blow whenever I tried to turn them on.
Everything works now.
Randy re-aimed them as well, they were sitting pretty low. I'm going to get some new pics up (and maybe a vid) tomorrow.

How do you re-aim? I think my left one is slightly higher although I didnt mess with them. Is it a visual thing or is there a guideline?Originally Posted by CandlestickPark

There are two adjusters, one for horizontal and one for vertical. The vertical one is accessible while the lights are on the car.Originally Posted by Tian

Here is a good guide to properly aim your projectors: https://g35driver.com/forums/body-in...rojectors.html
For mine though the shrouds were not made for my lights so its easier to adjust them with the lights off the car. When you try using the adjusters while they are on the car it doesn't give you the full range of adjustment because the fitment is so tight.
