3 should be sufficient for headliner pillars and sunroof

i'm in the middle of doing mine... how did you get the suede over the raised part of the headliner without bubbles? and the visors?

i'm struggling over here.

depends? What kind of suede are you using? does it have stretch or no stretch?

I have done 2 headliners one with suede I used in this thread that had stretch was really easy and one that had no stretch and it got bubbles like crazy. I will only use stretch material from now on.

It's alcantara... It has very minimal stretch.

That's prob why.. Minimal to no stretch super hard to work with.I gave up on the no stretch material.

You can try a little heat. If you got Alcantara money you should have a professional do it.

good idea! i thought i would be able to do it all myself, except the visors, and i spent all my money on good suede haha... bad idea. i've just been laggin on going somewhere cause i know i could do it myself and save the money.

I hear ya but you spent a lot, we spent like 40 bucks. Huge difference if you gotta scrap it.

haha yea $40 well spent! I have done 2 other friends headliners since because they loved it haha.. Its really easy once you do it the first time.. I learned alot taking it out and it pretty much applies to every car take off A, B and C, pillars and such to get headliner down.

I did a girls in zebra print.. Its super trippy haha came out good tho and she gets more compliments on hers than I do prob because hers is more noticeable than mine.
