Wow looks very nice!!

For the dip stick I would sand down the yellow tip ad spray high temp primer. After that I would just paint any color you want with high temp paint. I did that to motor and it came out great! This might be over kill for the dip stick but at least it'll last a long long time in the heat.

That's a good suggestion. I have pulled all the stickers since that picture was taken and plan to shave and paint my battery covers LS to match the car. I might do the dipstick the same color at the same time.

Looks great, Chris. Marcus, you've inspired me to paint my dipstick. Good tip on polishing those AC lines, too, I'll get right on that!

Lookin great!

When I painted my dipstick I used Montana Gold Shock series paint. I use it for most of my painting needs. Seems to be working well with high heat. Great for painting rims too, no need to sand, primer, etc. It has a primer built in and hold up well with road conditions.

snoop- cool to meet you in person at the G/Z club meet! You live about 5 minutes from me. Thanks for the intro to Bobby! It was fun watching 30-40 bad *** Gs and Zs haul *** out of the parking lot going the wrong way down the one-way aisles. Classic! Too bad I was rolling the FX- I felt like the weird uncle at a family reunion.

Do you have any idea for the cost to have the stock plenum polished?
Any idea if the strut tower brace will still fit with a 9/16 plenum spacer? The clearance looked pretty tight.

Also a thought on the dipstick Jimmy: try the Plasti Dip, you can get either the dunk in kind or spray paint type. I've never used it on my dipstick (that just sounds wrong), but it works good on other engine bay uses. I refuse to ask for pics of your dipstick!!

^^ PM SxExCx for prices on polished stuff. Most strut bars will fit over a 5/16" spacer...my NRG unit does with plenty of clearance and doesn't rub the hood either.

(I like your sig, btw, clever!)

You must be talking about the no front end part, because nobody understands Latin!

^^ Some of us have cracked a book and know a little of history. (Some others will say I know it because I was there )

You'd have to look in the 'origins of your username' thread for the Swivel story...
