Take it from a FL resident, we don't want to hear it... it's been mid 90s to 100s and very humid for almost 3 months now

It seals against the hood and doesn't have the heatsoak issue like a pop charger etc. I bought a pop last summer and sold that **** in 4 weeks because the summer heat in Texas KILLED my power. No issues this summer with the R2C. Gas mileage is good as well and it looks damn good.

BTW where's my itrader feedback foo??
^I think somebody is cheating..... so Tim, what do you use when the polished aluminum plenum starts to haze huh????

For the dip stick I would sand down the yellow tip ad spray high temp primer. After that I would just paint any color you want with high temp paint. I did that to motor and it came out great! This might be over kill for the dip stick but at least it'll last a long long time in the heat.
Try cleaning it really good with Alcohol and using "Idiot paint" (Duplicolor Vinyl and Plastic coating)

Sorry to disappoint you but my plenum is chromed, hence the comments about just wiping it down with a damp rag. 1 1/2 years and it still looks great, no polishing necessary.

^I am disappoint Tim!
You didn't catch on to my sarcasm about you "cheating"
In other words, saying a blinged out plenum is easy to keep clean when yours is chrome but his is just polished

^Install a plenum spacer.

Once you get that task under your belt, and realize how easy it is, you'll be a lot less scared to take stuff apart.
