Installed a new seat today:

Also installed a PAC NIS1 + mount/charger for my droidX recently:

Just got my 06 sedan in December. Swore I would leave it be but then I found this site, <sarcasm> My wife says thanks! </sarcasm>. I swear every time I look at my car it gets higher and higher now so I'm looking for Moar Low. My last ride was a dropped truck with a busted *** suspension so my wife is naturally worried about me dropping the G and I'll have a newborn in a couple weeks (or any day) so I can't be getting too crazy with the stiffness, but I want the most low I can get w/o making the baby or the wife mad. I've been searching and reading for days but seems like I'm just coming up with more choices and getting getting more confused the more I read. Any help would be appreciated.

I made a poor mans "Z-tube"

One of the main differences between the Ztube and our OEM tube is the large resonator on the bottom of the OEM tube. I decided to remove it and cover up the hole.

I have no idea what this will sound like compared to stock since I've been non-stock for many years. So I'll have to have someoe else test it for me and if there is a difference, I'll make a new thread in the tech section.

Anyways....some pics of what I did.

Snapped off the resonator with my hands
You can see 3 holes but only the center one is open and only that one will need to be resealed

I cut a piece out of the resonator and used it to cover up the hole with some expoxy

BAM! Poor mans Ztube completed

There is still the chamber up top that appears to have a very small opening to it from inside the tube. That would be my next option if no results were found from this first attempt.

Chris you can really make it a poor mans Ztube by melting the circle on. Poor peeps don't have epoxy! lol

^400/600/1000 then finished with 1500. May need to do 2000 depending on how your cover looks. I attempted to do the cam covers before using the above grades but didn't achieve the results I wanted because the cam covers are just a PITA. I opted for a professional to do the work.....that is where Sean (SxExCx) came in It is waaaay worth paying Sean for the cam covers as they are a rougher texture than the timing cover
