^They're not LED.

They're a Florescent Segmented Display. The natural color of the display is a pale blue/green (think older Chevy radio display)
Nissan puts a dark orange filter over it to make it appear amber.

I made a dark red filter.

^I've never taken apart an 05/06. If you can pull off the trim bezel (without breaking it) and send me pics, I might be able to come up with a solution for you.

Unfortunately though, your gauge cluster is a different story. Yours is LED, and the older ones like mine have an orange filter sheet.

well LEDs i can do. after being in school i look at electronics different so leds are simple!! MOSFETs are amazing

^Ok, well they're the tiny surface mount ones. There are a TON of them that have to be taken off and new ones soldered back on.

There's a couple threads on it though.

i don't have a good enough iron for surface mount, its a cheapo walmart one just to half *** my assignments
