need some input on my car, i want to lower it (pics)

okay i attached a picture of my car. any suggestions on how much i should lower it?

i JUST bought new tires 235/45/18 so idk if that will effect how much i want it lowered. the back seems like it's lower than the front already. i'd like to have my tires just slighty covered. i hate the space between the tire and wheel well.

i also want to paint the bottom charcoal colored plastic to match the car, any idea how much doing these 2 things will cost? anyone have a good kit i can buy and take it to my friend who works on cars and have him install it all?

thanks.

Coilovers then you can lower it as much as you want and not have to sec guess if you did too much or not with springs.

Trust in the forums.

coilovers are around 1k and depending on how much you lower because once u pass a certain point u will need camber kits, rolled fenders, etc.

If you don't want to spend the money on coilovers, just stick with springs. Depending on the brand of coilovers you could spend anywhere from $900-$2000+, or if you want to go with springs, you could spend anywhere from $150-$300. I just went ahead and did springs at the time because I didn't have the money for coils at the time and decided to do other mods.

+1, I forgot to mention used sets. Just keep an eye out for people selling them-you'll get a good deal.

Take a look through the following thread for lots of choices. A set of 350z springs will lower your car about an inch, you don't have to worry about camber kits or tire rub, and should only cost you $100-200.

Also look at post #3 in this thread, it will answer a lot of your questions:
