I'm thinking about adding the stock spoiler... what do you guys think? I'm just looking for some different perspectives.

 

if your gonna get a spoiler, get the bmw m3 rep spoiler! those look really clean

 

I like either or. I bought my G without it and added it eventually. I didn't like it to much until I put on some wheels and slammed it lol

 

I vote to keep it clean and simple.

 

I like the spoiler with the led 3rd light and helps complete the OEM AERO package. I have dropped it on Z/G springs and changed to 245/45-18 in the front and 255/45-18 in the rear to fill in the gap but pictures are stock when it was at the dealer.

I agree. I really like the OEM spoiler, but also like just the clean trunk. It really depends on the day for me.

In your case I would do it because it does look a little plain like stated.

 

IMO dont get a spoiler. Your G is super clean .

I love the shaved door moldings and trunk emblem. Use the money you were gonna spend on a spoiler and put it towards some coilovers.

 

I like the clean wingless look myself. Have you thought about just adding a lip spoiler?

 

or get the strafe or hikkatadori molded spoiler trunk

 

stock sedan spoiler is nice or get a nice roof wing with no trunk spoiler. i like that look too

 

Swap trunks with somebody, im sure alot of people would want to go wingless.

I had the spoiler removed when I painted the car a non-OE color and now am thinking about adding it back. It's either buy a rear shelf with a 3rd brake light, or add the stock spoiler back on...those are basically my only options as the cheap aftermarket 3rd light isn't cutting it.

Looks good on sedans, not so much on my coupe IMO

 

i debated the spoiler a loooong time ago but decided to do a molded lip and get my HD trunk...i think those look cleaner or the M3 lip...but as of now your debadged trunk looks sick like that!
