Thanks for the replies. I love the way the lights have come out. Exactly how I wanted them to be.

The only problem I am facing is how and where to connect the Lower HID ballast. Can I connect it to the green and black wire going into the stock ballast or do I have to connect the ballast directly to the batter?? Connecting the second ballast is the last piece of the puzzle so that I can aim them.

I have my HID Kit with bulb. I am trying to power them up. I dont know if I can tap right into what the OEM ballast wires. Or are those power and ground wires not enough power?

it should be enough power. but you can always be extra safe and run a relay harness

The hub centric ring got melted and the shroud fell off. Not one but two. First the driver then the passenger. I could not go more than 2 wks without having to take them off to fix it. If you have any solution or reason why its falling off please tell me, im so close to taking them off and selling them. Ive left them on for 20 mins before i sealed the headlights to check for any high heat, but i got nothing.

WOW that sucks. The hub centric ring is that black ring you put around the front of the projector? That is not good. Im thinking of making some type of fastner for the shrouds so that I dont have to glue them to the projector or the template I made.

Another question I have is. Can I just combine the Red and yellow wire coming out of the bottom position plug. The one that went into the old bulb. What is the red one for and what is the yellow one for.

on a side note: I tried to connect the ballast straight to the wires that are going into the OEM ballast (the green and black wires), but they did not fire up. Could it be that the ground is not strong enough? I am not sure I know what is going on.

Another side note: I do know that the ballasts are working because I can connect the ballasts to a power supply that I have at home and I can fire up the HID in the bottom position. Can someone please help. I need to finish these!!!!

yea its the black ring. I have no clue whats causing the heat and i have the 35 watt ballast. Its just soo odd. if any of you retrofitters have any solution please tell me. Im just too tired to fix it now. Probably will just sell it and use the money for something else.

as for the shrouds, i hear alot of people just jb weld it onto the projectors.

Mr. Hamster I didnt even put the hub centric rings. My shrouds didnt go all the way down on the FXR projectors.

Here is a pic of my lights being sealed up. I think they are going to look amazing when they are on. I cant wait now!!!!!
