That came out nice, how close is it to the factory titanium trim color? I have a couple of little scratches in my center console that drive me nuts, wrapping it would beat the hell out of painting it but I don't want to wrap the radio bezel.

I don't think the carbon fiber piece looked THAT bad, but great work nonetheless

I think fortunately, I'm over my Carbon Fiber phase. It was fun, and now I know I can do it.

We will see what happens when I start to put things back together, though, who knows.

If I was making more than one that would make sense, but I need this flexible, and every one is spaced differently. I think it'd be just as large of a nightmare trying to make a board as this is, probably more-so.

Plus I'm not setup to do that.

Feb 8 Update

Those of you who have come to know me on here will know that I change my mind constantly. Nothing is ever decided, even if I say it is.

I humbled myself and accepted that I don't have the talent for vinyl, I wasn't able to make pieces that were up to my standards, and I simply don't have the time left to learn on this project. I have too much to complete before spring.

That said, I've abandoned the Brushed Titanium Wrap.

The side-piece to that, is I wasn't "wow'd" once I installed it in the car to get a sense how it looked.
It just looks like a classier version of the stock setup. Not very unique. I'm not down with that.

So I'm back to the original plan of painting it satin black for the time being.

Oh, and it snowed today. The G is hiding well. Please know, the car is jacked up on blocks 1.5' off the ground as well. Looks like I'll be working hard if I want to touch anything on the car again for a bit.
