The first gen sounds as good as it looks! I know the 2013 g37 loaner l got was very quiet.could not hear it idling! Under power I could barely hear it. I know my first generation X has.a.sweet and sexy sound! And that's what the women have told me that were in it!I had the Megan Racing oe rs system installed.I think it sounds better and deeper.it's not an expensive exhaust system.but it is made with type 304 stainless steel and a three inch system. It might be made in China but the quality of the work is top notch!
