What was your ride prior to the G?
Wow. Holy thread revival
I can't believe you found this thread, but missed the much newer, and much larger thread in the same section: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...re-your-g.html
Anyway, that being said....
^Like this guy, the car I owned just before the G was a 6MT WS6... though mine was one year older.
I miss the TA a lot, can't really say I enjoy the G much more though
The G is nicer, more practical, packs for trips better, and is FAR more comfortable for 4 people... but it's just not as much fun to drive as the TA was

Within the next two weeks I will be going from a 2003 Mazda 6S to a 2003 G35 Sedan 5AT.
I'll miss the 6 in the winter. Man that car got me out of some hairy situations that I got myself into. I somehow managed to drive out of a snow-filled ditch that I slid into backwards about a car lengths in and with a little rocking the car and a whole lot of traction control off wheel spinning I made it out!

First car I bought was a 1997 Dodge Stratus (lots of problems and lasted about a year of college transportation and pizza delivery driving, or about 40,000 miles)
Second car was a 1996 I30. Loved the car like crazy. Then it started to rust, and the clear coat started to peel all over the car. I then had a botched water pump replacement which pretty much ruined the last year of owning the car. Lasted me almost 4 years exactly.
Now have a 2003.0 G35, hoping it lasts me many trouble-free miles.
