What was your ride prior to the G?
As I stated in another thread I don't own a G35 yet, but I will be getting one in about 3 months. The car it will be replacing is a 1992 Toyota pickup with a 4-cyl engine and abosulutely no frills, not even a RPM guage.
This is a pretty huge upgrade, perhaps one of the biggest ever, but I bet someone out there can beat it.
If you the G is your first car it doesn't count (my thread, I make the rules ). Otherwise, what was your daily driver prior to the G?
Can anyone top (bottom?) my POS '92 no-frills pickup?

I had a 2003 Infiniti I35 Lemon Wanna be. The dealer finally made me a deal to get out of the car and into a G as I did not want another I35 after my experience. The G had been good aside from some minor interior issues that can be lived with.
Prior to the I35 , my wife and I both had 2001 Acura's. I had the TL and she , the CL. Aside from the known tranny issues(my tl was ok) I had sunroof rattles, brake rotor warpage etc. Not typical honda quality. The trans on the CL went at 24000 miles . They fixed it and it was good for 3 months. Then, while passing at about 65 mph, the trans went into neutral for a few seconds, then , back in gear. Dealer could not find any problems. Since I bought it there , they bought it back at Kelley Blue Book Excellent condition less 100.00 and I was a happy camper. No more Honda products for me.
