Manual mode issue
Just changed shifter in my 2005 Infiniti g35x sedan. Bought brand new shifter. Manual mode switch was tested bad on unit which was removed. However still having same issue with manual mode working 50% of the time . What else could it be?FOB?

Start with the simple stuff. I would check the microswitches at the shifter first. Mine was missing shifts when I first bought the car. I opened it up and slightly bent the arms out on the microswitches a bit more. Been working fine since.
