[QUOTE=AlterZgo]Marcel - Why are you so up on Automotive Mods? It looks like they sold you a set of rims that don't fit properly. Also, what's up w/ this shaving the hub of the rim to get it to fit properly? They should be ordering you a set of new rear rims that have the proper offset and width so that there is no need for modifications to the rim itself.

Quote: Hi all, new to forum and noob. Just got these 20' Black MRR with polish lip. 20 x 8.5 front, 20 x 10 Rear. Vredestein Sessanta 245/35ZR20 and 275/30ZR20 tires.
Not sure if the rear should be sticking out that far. Thinking about lowering but need help. Looks aggressive this way though.
How far do your rear wheels stick out? 0.5" or 1"? If it's only 1" or less, the tires will tuck in when you lower your car. My rear wheels stick out 2" before lowering. After lowering, they stick out about 0.6". The rub when I drive over major bumps so I took them off. Need to buy new wheels.

Eibach + 20" Axis Penta
Finally got the wheels and Eibach ProKit installed. Axis Penta, 20X9 Front, 20X10 Rear, 25mm offset all wheels

I got these wheels from my 04 G35 Coupe which I traded in for the 07 Sedan. I was just wondering how's the fitment on the rear with 20X10 with 25mm offset. The rear wheels sticked out about 2" before lowering. After lowering, they sticked out about 0.5" with 255/35 tires. No rubs were detected without a full load on the back. With the rear fully loaded, ouch!!! you don't want to hear it, the rear tires rubbed every time I drove over a bump. I'm putting these wheels for sale now. I'm gonna go with MRR GT1 once I get these wheels sold.

What size tires are you using? Are you sure about those sizes and offsets? Is this the setup you mentioned in your previous post in this thread that was rubbing?

Terry,

I'm really sure about the sizes and offsets. The rear tires were 255/35. By they way, do you now have rims on your car? If so, what kind, size, and offset? Can you post some pics?

Ah ... 255 might be possible ... I guess the wheels stick out of the fender a little, but the 255's might clear with enough camber. Any rubbing? Be sure to put up those daytime pics!

Link to pictures of my set up are here:

The final configuration is on page 3.
