I bought 245/40s to go on my 19x9.5 squared set up. My 08x is dropped slightly, your sidewall may need to be bigger/smaller depending on your ride height. You could also go 255/40 which is what I almost went with.

Work in progress (isn't it always?) as I am deciding on getting the lip PC'd gloss black vs getting the face Gunmetal and leaving the lip polished.... but for now:

I masked off the edges and used VHT with clear coat. I didnt do a write up but it wasnt hard other than the insanity of trying to make sure the width was even across the whole thing. I tried to get the tint as close as possible to black without blocking the light completely. The pics show it passes with no problem. No tix for that... but one for my windows.

I thought u had painted it from the inside. Wow that musta been hard to get a even edge all the way around. did you do anything to smooth the transition between painted surface to non painted. Can you show some close up pics

Nope, I have never opened up my taillights but I am thinking about it. I want to add a thin LED tube to the outline of the tails in some way, either integrated with the turn signals, brake lights, or just driving lights. If only I had confidence in my skills in electrical work, I would be tackling it already.

The transition between the tint and the non was only handled with the clear coat. Being careful with the painters tape is realy the only way to manage the crispness of the transition. It took alot of using my thumbnail and a few other objects to work the tape into the curve as I wanted. I'll take some pics of the taillights when I get back to the car and post em.

Just installed the new wheels and thought I'd share. Sorry for crappy cell phone pics, and the sun wouldn't come out. No drop yet, it's in the future plans. No rubbing or issues as of yet.

Stance SC-5ive, flat black spokes with polished black lip.
