Yup, makes sense, that will definitely make a big difference. When I went from 275's to 285's I had to change my camber -.03°.

About time I got rims for my 2008 G35X

Rims: Stance SC-5ive
Rim Size: 20X9, 32+ offset all around
Tires: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 245/35/20 Tires all around
Suspension: Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, stock struts

And yes I know that I am in need of a BBK and so far no rubbing issues.

That's funny I was just looking at those wheels. They look really nice. They almost look like 22s.

The transition between the tint and the non was only handled with the clear coat. Being careful with the painters tape is realy the only way to manage the crispness of the transition. It took alot of using my thumbnail and a few other objects to work the tape into the curve as I wanted. I'll take some pics of the taillights when I get back to the car and post em.

EDIT

That is clever!

nice wheels bro, are you running 20x9 all the way around? are you rubbing?

I am thinking about doing the same for my 07 6mt sedan but i am on stock height. will it look 4x4?

also are u getting TPMS light? or u get tpms sensors installed.

Thanks, yup 20X9 all the way around. I'm not seeing any rubbing issues whatsoever. Yeah on any wheel you will have that 4X4 look on stock height. Although I want to go lower and I may switch to H&R springs. Yeah I'm getting the TPMS light since I didn't get get the sensor installed on the wheels. I don't see a valid reason to spend the extra $400 on sensors I could care less for.

Hey everyone, just got my new wheels on and figured I would contribute to this post. Specs are 20x9 +35 up front and 20x10 +40 out back. Tires are 245/35's and 285/30's. Wheels are MOZ 3-piece forged wheels (GTM8). As of now the faces and lips are machined with some black accents, I'm thinking of PC'ing the centers hyper silver and polishing the lips because after seeing them on the car I'm not a huge fan of the color.

Yes, I know it needs a drop, and I have the Eibach's waiting to go on. Further, car is at the shop right now getting 20% all around, and I just got my OEM sport lip in the mail yesterday which also needs to go on ASAP.

I know the poke is a bit much in the rear at stock height, but this setup should poke 1mm less than the 10.5 +45 setup which people seem to run out back on a 285 without a problem on Eibach's. Hoping to get everything together dialed in around -2 degrees without rubbing.

Let me know what you think!

Opinions welcome!

I like the wheels just fine as is, look like some nice quality rims for sure You should be fine w/ clearance once you camber in a bit when you drop it. I'm running 295s on 10" +45 at zero gap w/ no rubbing issues, and my rear camber is -1.1. your 285s should tuck right in even at OEM camber spec. Here's a pic for reference and if you ever want to paint your taillights GTR style I can hook you up
