Quote: Removed the clear using aircraft stripper, then worked my way from 100 (which was probably too low, if I did it over I'd start at like 300-400 grit) all the way up through various grades until I got to 2000 grit. Then I hit them with 2 different grades of aluminum polish on a die grinder and finished with mothers mag polish. I think I may have skipped a little too fast through one of the steps though as there are still some faint scratches present if you really get close and look for it.

Hardware was all tumbled which cleaned those up real nice as well.

makes the wheels look way better!!!

Wow! That's a lot of work, but they turned out really nice. Did you end up using any type of Loctite when you reinstalled the hardware?

Ok so I've been reading all the comments and looking at pics of fitment. Just looking for verbal approval of my wheel specs. Any help is appreciated!

I have a set of 19x9.5 35mm wheels. I also have a set of Eibach pro springs to go along with these. I don't want my wheels to stick out past the fender, and it seems specs are so different from one car to the next, with not much clarification on how it's dropped or whether camber is needed. I don't want to run negative camber, and I want the wheels to be flush with fenders. I had my wheels off today doing other service, and test fitted a wheel. It stuck outside the wheel well by like a 1/4" to be honest. Now I know the Eibach drop will pull the wheels in, but will it be enough to make flush and not run camber or pull fenders? I'll be running 255/35R19 tire wise.
