What's on your dash and shifter?

 

Well, judging from his name I'm guessing he's Indian therefore Hindu. The figurine on the dash looks like Ganesha, elephant-headed Hindu god. I'm not so sure about the band on the shifter. Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

you're exactly right asuh...when I bought the car, we did a small initiation type ceremony (hindu tradition) and I velcrowed on a figurine of Ganesha to the dashboard afterwards. Ganesha is the hindu lord of beginnings and obstacles and also represents divinity in hinduism. The red thing around the shifter is just a red string used in the ceremony.

They switched it up a bit since my 05. The armrest is now brown and the brown extends further down the panels/dash. I still love my wheat interior.
