thats because no one had the ***** to put wide and low offset wheels on their car. now that i know my 10" fit with no rubbing i'd have gone with 10.5" or 11" if i were to do it again.

A more aggressive offset may be right for having that perfect stance, but it's actually wrong for purposes of handling and wear on components like wheel bearings. You actually want to run an offset closer to stock if you want your car to turn in better and have less stress on things like bearings and suspension components.

Don't get me wrong. Personally, I favor looks too and would run the aggressive offset on my own car, but I wouldn't just dismiss +40 F and +42 R as being wrong for the G.
i know abt all the scrub radius and how low offset affects handling. the fact is, i didnt buy this car for handling, and i doubt most of the ppl on this board bought their G for handling. i would have bought a STi or Evo if i wanted good handling. also ur wheel bearings arent as weak as u think they are. good luck finding any G's with wheel bearing problems because of low offset wheels. no offense to anyone, +40 offset isnt "wrong" for the car. its just that if i were to spend that much money on a set of wheels i would pick a size that will give the car a flush look, not some stock sunken look.

nice wheels regardless

The rears are fine. I think those who are saying the offset is too high are talking mainly about the fronts as most people are running something like a +35 up front on 8.5" rims.

Regardless, your car looks good.
