Sneak Pre-view...IP on Black 19" VSXX
Here is a sneak pre-view of my rims on my car. I have to wait to get my center hub spacer and my springs (Eibachs- which are on backorder til mid august...2 more weeks) before these will be permanently on. Hope you enjoy! I have to keep telling myself to be patient . Any comments are welcome!
Specs are
Fronts:
19 x 8.5" + 40(i think) 245/35/19
Rears:
19 x 9.5 +42 275/35/19

You shouldnt have a need for spacers on aftermarket rims. If you need spacers, you obviously didnt choose the correct offset for the rims on your car. From what I see in your picture, you definitely could of had a fatter lip on the front rims. Personally, I think you should of done a bit of more homework before you purchased these Works. Regardless, very sick wheels and it will look 2X better after your drop.

I did my homework when it came to the size and offsets of the rims. The front lip i really didn't care about...i was more worried about the rear. I also didn't want a toooo agressive look.
Thanks for all the compliment...i'll get more pics once i have everything put in.

Man you guys are busting his chops. I agree that it will not look as aggressive once lowered, but the reality is, there are various reasons why a rim fitment is "correct".
A more aggressive offset may be right for having that perfect stance, but it's actually wrong for purposes of handling and wear on components like wheel bearings. You actually want to run an offset closer to stock if you want your car to turn in better and have less stress on things like bearings and suspension components.
Don't get me wrong. Personally, I favor looks too and would run the aggressive offset on my own car, but I wouldn't just dismiss +40 F and +42 R as being wrong for the G.
