i live in TN. Yea there are actually quite a few G's on the roads around here. Its funny because when i purchased it a few days after it went on sale, i didn't see any at all. Mine was actually the first ivory pearl purchased in the state.

But ofcoarse, i work at the nissan manufacturing plant in smyrna tn. And also the headquarters is fully up and running in nashville now. so there are several thousand immediate families of employees(7000) around here. Not to mention the suppliers of nissan that are local. i think it all adds up to many nissan/infiniti vehicles on the roads within a certain radius of here.

^^Is the whole town built around the plant workers? I have this weird picture in my head where if Nissan were to go down the whole town would disappear, kind of like ghost towns.... I dunno that's just how I imagine it out there.

My town wouldn't, its too well estabilished with other employment. in my county, population has gone up 115% in the past fifteen years. the population surge here has been from nashville's growth. well the area is also built up due to the healthcare field. nasville and the surrounding area is a big hub for all things associated with it(insurance, accounts, and actual hospital workers). so the whole area wouldn't shut down. but it would definately hurt the economy of the midstate. the county where i am at(30mi south of nash) is a warehouse/industrial/manufacturing center for middle tennessee.

with all of that said about my town, the actual town that nissan is in, smyrna, would probably fold up.

^^Wow very interesting... I wouldn't mind moving up that way, if I could land a job there, I mean at the Nissan plant.
