I want to tint the front windshield a very light percentage.. Something that won't attract attention and something that is almost completely unnoticeable.. I have my windows tinted 25% but seems a bit light.. perhaps the guy used 35 and told me it was 25.. but does anyone have pics of a very light tint on front windshield and here in MA you have to have an inspection sticker in the front windshield.. will that ruin the tint? and when i put my radar detector on.. will that ruin the tint also? I just want the tint for heat reduction and UV reduction

 

sticker will not ruin the tint or a radar, i got both on my front tint..by the way do a 35%

my sister has her whole car tinted 15% and front windshield tinted 35% and It's nice for the summer, but man is it hard to drive at night, and in the rain. Plus with the inspection sticker/brake tag, every time she gets a new one (every year) they have to scrape it off, which left a square that's un-tinted in the corner...

 

must suck at night! and don't say it doesn't because my old car was just as dark (and I'm talking about the front). Worst thing you can do unless you don't drive at night!

 

Honestly, ive been inside cars with 35% windshield tint, and its a tad too dark, its not cool to drive at night. You should definitely opt for 50%, its perfect, and the cops wont hotsauce you.

 

i got 1% tint with 50% windsheild with a 5% strip.

People need to think about their safety and everyone else's on the road before they decide to do something ridiculous like tint their windshield.

 

just to let everyone know i own a business tinting windows and every windshield i have tinted has come back to get taken off cause the cops are really starting to crack down on it i had mine tinted for 3 days before they pulled me over for it and i had 50% and that was the only reason he pulled me over. so just letting you guys know be careful here in fl it is a 80 dollar ticket for the first time then it gets steeper if you get caught again

 

i want to get it done, but i am really reconsidering now.

 

I also think tint on the windshield is a bad idea. My friend had his done and told me NOT TO DO IT for the following reasons:

-Not safe
-Cops are gonna get you sooner or later
-If you ever decide to remove it.....good luck
-Unless you get it installed 100% perfect you will notice every little imperfection like bubbles, creases etc
