Unhappy BlueBatmobile Overlays ON!! but got a few hitches

Hi guys, I got my overlays fitted last Wednesday by a tint/body shop. They did a better job than I expected, but there are a few wrinkles around some of the edges, wanted to get some help on how I can fix these if anyone has tips to give, anyway enjoy the pics for now:

Right side cluster wrinkles:

Left side cluster wrinkles:

The wrinkles above are the only ones visible, so I'd like to fix them without having to take the whole overlay out if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated, thanks.

don't worry bro, i had wrinkles on the edge of mines too. all you have to do is get a blow dryer and a hotel card (something with a flat surface) and tuck it in. also groom it down with your finger.. after a while it will take perfect shape and you won't have to worry about it again.

Ok you've put my hopes up buddy, I will get around to doing it. The good thing is you cannot see the wrinkles at night and they're only just about noticeable in day time if you get really close (but I'm a bit **** about these things lol)

The car was dirty since I've fitted them, and got the car washed yesterday night and I love 'em

ya definitely try the dryer first that should work as it will help stretch the film that you can tuck into the lines. G/L

I agree. You should be able to tweak the edges a bit but don't think about peeling those back in an attempt to fix them. You'll end up stretching them and they'll need to be placed.

he does not need to take them off at all just take a hair dryer to it and the vinyl will automatically become softer and can be pressed towards the edgeds of the light with your finger which will cause it to stretch and then you can use a thin card to push in the VERy little excess fil into the gap between the housing and the body. ^ Thanks

I got around to buying a hair dryer today lol and tried to tidy up the edges, it worked well on some and not so well on others, all in all I think I might order a new set because I realised what they did wrong, they cut too much of the film off and so there's just about enough to hang over but not enough to tuck it in (some areas) anyway I think I'll give them better instructions next time and probably lend them my hair dryer as well to make sure they get it done 100% right. Thanks for the feedback and help guys, really appreciate it.

P.S. I've got the lower valance overlay sitting at home (should be easier than the taillights) so I'll probably get them to fit that as well next time.

I also ordered a set from Andy(bat) the day before and still havent gotten any confirmation or response. How long does he take usually? anyone know?

I already emailed and PM'd him the details of the order after sending payment through payapl.

Thanks
P.S. Just being over anxious

he usually gets loads of e-mails so it takes him some time, but from my experience once he's gotten the order and payment he usually ships them out fairly quick. But I too had to e-mail him and ask him if my order was on the way and he confirmed it was. I'm actually ordering another set as we speak so I hope it doesn't take too long.
