Just to help everyone w/ the part numbers and searching
Part number 008390801
Vendor number 1F0 008 390-801
Old part number 74522 (as the OP has listed at the beginning of the thread)
I installed them at the house yesterday and today.... I had no clue the beam pattern wasn't a cutoff one until I looked in the lamps close up. Gotta aim them downward, or use them sparingly.
I LOVE THE NARROW BEAM PATTERN though! WOHOO
Good luck everyone
Very useful post. Thanks.
Would anyone know why one couldn't just get the non-Xenon DE kit and fit an aftermarket HID kit to it? Unless another sub-$300 deal comes along, this route would end up being cheaper.

what ever you get make sure the projector lens is protected by a glass lens as rocks and stuff will break that **** in no time.. My real JDM fogs ($2K) have covers and one got cracked (the cover not lens) so just a heads up...

broken bit

PM me if you're trying to get rid of them.
I'm sooooo close to pulling the trigger on this. It's really expensive tho :/ but then again I dont wanna go a cheap route an it comes out dull and not as bright. I want it just as bright, of not more :/
