If you guys are interested, Hella sells the non-HID version of this exact kit for about $130. You can always retrofit an aftermarket H3 HID kit on it.

Yes. I had the non-HID version of the Hella Micro DE lamps which is a fog lamp. The ones kmuniz78 has are HID and are driving lamps rather than fog lamps so the dispersion pattern is totally different. You can see it in his avatar. My setup only cost $175 with the PIAA ion plasma yellow H3 bulbs.

Which is a good thing IMHO, whether it's a real fog lamp or not, it sure beats the OEM "fog's" as far as lighting the road is concerned. The OEM's doesn't even work in real fog.

I pointed out earlier, I think, that I have to re-aim the driver and passenger slightly, but other than that, should be good. Will try to take some night pics tonight from behind the car to give you an idea of the difference.

I thought about going that route as well, but was told not to because of the glare issue with the OEM fog housing not being a projector, the light would disperse all over the place.

Here is a night shot with just the 3k's from inside my car facing out of garage (driveway slightly slanted); bad angle. Started to rain, and I had just washed the freaking car. So, will take it out later on for more night shots. Yellow really stands out at night.
