NRG Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

Just got done installing the CF engine cover I ordered from Riverside Infiniti...

I wanted to install my strut bar too...but my injen intakes are in the way...for those who have injen intakes and gtspec strut bar...did you loosen the intake pipes to get to the bolts? or do you just have some crazy tools? thanks

and yes my engine bay is dirty

You should get some INFINITI or G35 or VQ badging and slap it on. It looks a little bare. Maybe even a Mt Fuji

Looks sick bro, get a Mt Fuji trunk emblem and stick it on in between the 2 bolts on the lower section and it'll look sick as hell.

it might be a better idea to PM someone from riverside though...i bet they'll give you a better deal since you're a g35driver.com member...

i just ordered a g35 coupe trunk emblem to put on the lower part of the engine cover like some of you suggested...i was wondering should i also order this carbon fiber insert? or do you think it will look fine without it?

Thanks

Personally I think it'd look better without the insert. It looks like the weave is going the same direction, but it might not match up that well. It's gonne look really nice with the emblem regardless of whether the insert is there or not.

Naw bro, without the inserts. Makes it look too bulky.
Make sure you use some strong glue so it wont melt off.

^^ thanks for the quick replies, i agree with both of you, makes it look bulky...i also ordered extra grommets and retainers for the new engine cover from riverside infiniti...i only ordered 2 because the top piece screws in fine, but the bottom piece seems like it needs grommets and retainers...hopefully the ones from the stock engine cover fits in those holes...i'll post pics after i modify the bottom piece a bit
