Not to be harsh or anything but I wouldn't quite call your friend a "camera genius". Quite a few of the photos are either underexposed, overexposed or out of focus.

Happy shooting, your friend only improve over time and practice!

thanks, these photos are alright compared to the ones we got tonight. I got another buddy to come and get pics. They're a lot better. Still need some work on a few though, I'll post em up tomorrow

 

Hey man, tell your buddy to get a tripod and remote if possible.

Taking night shots with a DSLR set on a tripod will do wonders.

 

Thanks for the tip, funny we had our tripods but we just got lazy
