Thanks for the detailed install info for the front lip, Paul. I should definitely be installing mine this weekend sometime, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh yeah, and Go Bearcats!!!!

Well, I installed the new front lip and grille on Sunday and it turned out great. I had the car into Riverside for some warranty work yesterday and Rick kept telling me how good the car looks in IP with the '09 front lip and midnight grille. All in all, I am very happy with it. Now I just need some springs to drop the car and a rear spoiler to complete the look I'm looking for.

I took some pics, but I can't post them yet, because my wife took my camera today for some reason. I'll try and post them up later, though.

Finally getting around to posting some pics after the install. I also took a bunch of pics during the install if anyone is interested in seeing those. I may eventually put together a DIY on the front lip if I ever get the time.

Thanks Robby! A drop is definitely coming soon, but I'm having trouble deciding what springs to go with. I really want to drop the front about 1" and the rear about 3/4", but no one offers a drop like that without going to coilovers.

Actually, yours is nicer b/c you guys in CA don't need a front license plate bracket unlike me who is required to have one and would get fined
Get coilovers! Your wife would never know the difference if you raised your car up before you get home

Wrong. CA requires front license plates, but of course there are a lot of ppl who don't abide.

Actually, CA has the same law, but they very seldom enforce it. I run a front plate on my truck that I drive most of the time, but all of my other cars are plateless up front. This car didn't even come with a front license plate bracket and it is a CA car... go figure.

Thanks Clement... you won't be disappointed when you get the front lip... I love the way the lip turned out on my car. Still not sure about the coilovers... every car I've ridden in with coilovers is just way stiffer than I want. I really like the stock ride.. just want to get rid of that aweful gap.

IMO the lips seems to look better on the lighter colored cars. I need to get me one of those grills

Thanks, I really do appreciate the compliment, man.. And no worries... most people don't even realize it's CA State law to have a front license plate on your car, because I'd say more than half the population doesn't run them.
