I have several bike parts, watches and other items made of carbon fiber but have never touched the raw material. Is this real CF or is it a CF stamped vinyl? If it real CF and it's this flexible I want to experience with it a bit myself. I can think of many isurface I'd like to experiement on, i.e. my laptop. Can it be clear coated and wet sanded to make a finished surface like most epoxied CF surfaces?

Not a real CF like what you see on the regular CF hood. Its more a CF stamped but you can feel the textures....
Here is a link someone has already wrapped his laptop. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=134

The 1st website you have up looks like the material that I am using for my car :P

I personally dont like the 2nd one cuz its shiny... :S

But I guess that kind of material is good for "outdoor" type trims where it can get rained or something.
