I'm wondering if one could just twist the coil spring in the rear a little bit so the end of the coil doesn't sit against the dip in the control arm. That would bring the height up some and it probably wouldn't move. But I wonder how it would handle!

Hmm, would definitely would do the job, but i would be worried about it falling off whereever it`s perched. Also giving the spring an extra bend where it doesn`t belong, creating an extra stress point. I`d hate to have a coil break while you`re driving

Please don`t do it ! It`s a very Honda-esque thing to do...we`re better than that

I wouldn't recommend rotating the spring out of its seat... I think you'd be better off using a thin set of polyurethane spring isolators instead.

Great video, man... Love the music! I forgot how quiet this exhaust is without the HFC's.

Did you do the 0 - 40 and highway runs with your windows up or down? I hear a lot of wind noise, so thought maybe you had your windows down... also love the way the camera followed the chick painting the fence for just a split second. LOL

Thanks! Yeah, I had the drivers window open. You can't hear the exhaust as much with the windows up. The one highway shot where I accelerated normally was with all the windows up. But you can't really tell since the tires are so noisey! There's also some little metal thing flapping on the camera that holds a holding strap.

Yeah, figured the window was down in that clip. If you ever get HFC's you won't have to put the windows down to hear it anymore. I still need to take another sound clip of mine before I install the custom x-pipe.

You're gonna love the way the exhaust sounds when you put the X pipe in. When my exhaust is cold, it's kinda raspy, but when the whole thing is warmed up OMG, I just want a really nice long tunnel, 2nd and floor it..... LOVE IT.

What's this X-pipe you speak of?

Yup, can't wait to get it done, Clement. I've found a couple of places to do it, but just haven't found the free time to drop the car off. How much did it end up costing you anyway?
