Quote: Keep in mind that I have Berk HFC's on mine, so that may be the difference your hearing. Not sure if DJ has HFC's on his or not. Also, the exhaust note tends to change some over the first 500 - 1000 miles of driving as the mufflers "break-in".

Incidentally, I've heard them both (G35 and G37 sedans with Tanabe's) in person and they sound virtually identicle to me.
It seems to me that I've seen a clip of your G before you installed HFC. And DJ's car had no HFC on the video too. I think u know whwat clips I'm talking bout. Only I can see the difference in sounds?)))

Quote: Hmmm. That's not a bad idea. Although, I also prefer the Tanabe mufflers, as they are not as big... but I guess if I were to paint the Invidia's flat black, then they may not be as obvious.

Still waiting on the brackets for the fronts, but should have them soon. Once they are on, I will post up a review for all to see.

That's what I'll do when/if my wife ever gives me the key to the bank account again (lol), paint the cans black.

Hehe... I know exactly what you mean! All my extra cash has gone towards new furniture lately, and a new mattress is next.

Would I have any issues running this exhaust on the "X." I'm thinking the tanabe exhaust with a colour matched diffuser

I would think so, since it is just an axle back system, and I'm pretty sure that everything on the rear of the X is identical to that on the RWD model... all the key differences are up front (i.e. transfercase, front driveshafts, different front hubs / suspension etc...). You may want to check with Tanabe or Riverside Infiniti just to be sure, though.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll email Rick at riverside. I'm having a irresistible itch to mod the rear lol
