New Slotted & Drilled Rotors on my '07
I made the trek out to Z1 Motorsports today and got their slotted and drilled rotors and some new pads put on my '07. John was great to work with, and they had some awesome rides out there. I'll post some more pics with a better camera tomorrow, but until then here are a couple I snapped with my iPhone.
Let me know what you think.

Edited to add: I'm headed out to Forged whenever my Eibach Pro Kit comes in to drop the car a bit.

Drilling does nothing performance-wise, and you risk developing cracks. This is especially true on most aftermarket rotors where the drilling is done after casting (high-end rotors have the holes pre-cast).
Slotting, OTOH, helps by allowing gas build-up to escape. Although, most performance pads no longer have gassing issues as in years past.
For the most part, and on a lot of street machines, slotting, drilling and dimpling are mostly done for aesthetics.
That said, looks good OP.

I just went and double checked my receipt, it was $436 for the kit. It was called the Z1 Motorsports Stage 2 kit with Posi-Quiet pads. Essentially I got their $575 kit less the new brake lines and with Posi-Quiet pads instead of the Hawk pads and that dropped the price to $436.

Those will fit 17's. You have a journey brakes and stock calipers. The reason I say that WILL fit is due to the black plastic cover that run behind the rotor. All parts are stock but rotors and the rotors appear to be stock size as well based on the spacing between the rotor and that black plastic cover.
They look great. Thanks for posting.

I'm new posting on the board and thought I would add a couple of pics of the whole car and the Goodyear F1's I've put on it. Just thought I would share a couple of pics before the additional mods go on in a couple of weeks.
Also, I think the word you were looking for was "irrelevant" not "obsolete". The pictures are not obsolete seeing they were taken today.
