No, we can reuse our stockers on them. You can't use A/M lugs on the oem coupe 19s (fyi)

Just applied the first coat of Jetseal 109 to 3 of the 4 rims. One of the rims has some small scratches, so I have to take the porter cable to it (hopefully tonight). I'll then apply another coat of Jetseal to the rims, then hopefully the front tires come in this Friday.

Looks really promising. So, what's the deal? Are they powder-coated G37 rims? Or are they painted? Where did you get them done?

Professionally painted, bought them this way from a member on myg37.com.

Wanted a set w/o tires, which seem harder to find but I lucked out. I didn't want to get a set with the oem tires, and have to buy tires again in 8 or so months. I wanted to get them w/o the stock tires so I could pick the tires I wanted (I hate the oems tires). I also was originally going to powdercoat whatever stock set I got, but it would have ended up costing me over 300 to get done, so I ended up saving some money with these as they were already done, and the color I wanted to boot (wanted either gunmetal or black).

I was gonna get these wheels too but the asking price was a lil high for just the wheels. You picked them up from a shop in Monterey Park right? I really like the color, definately looking forward to seeing pics once their installed.

They were at Amplified Motorsports, but belonged to a customer of theirs. Let's just say he came down a lot from his original asking price and I got a fair deal in the end

Very nice, San!!! I sw those up at Amplified a while back. Love the color! Those should look sweet on your LP or on my IP too.

+1000 on using the factory silver center caps. I did the same with the gunmetal finish SSR wheels I have on my Porsche. The extra contrast really sets off the wheels.

Thanks bro, I ended up loving the color when I saw them too. They're much darker than they seem in the pics, which is a good thing. The contrast between the rims and the LP should really pop, and the silver lug nuts/caps should add some extra contrast too.

Considering what it ended up costing to ship the rims here, I got a really good deal imo.

Hopefully the tires get in stock here on Friday, then I can get them mounted up by the weekend. I just spoke to my friend and he already ordered the tires, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Tonight I'll clean off the 3 rims that had 2 coats applied, and apply the last coat to the one rim I polished with the porter cable. Then they're ready to go

Yea Amplified is it, I think he was asking $1800 a few months ago when I was looking into a set for my car. What is this jetseal stuff your applying?
