the tire sizes are fine, i did my homework on these rims like u wouldn't believe. san-man knows what hes talking about, my tire sizes are plus zero. the stock 19s on the coupe are pretty much a plus zero size to the stock 18s that come with our cars, and then on top of that, i went with the plus zero sizing of the stock 19s on the coupe. so i plus zero'ed it 2 times over lol, if that makes any sense. my speedometer is not off at all, and i love the bulge that the tires have over the rims because it protects them better, and the wide tires of course also put more tire on the ground for better traction.
the handling is much improved, its very clear that there is more grip on turns and bends. i was whipping it around ramps on and off the highway, making u turns left and right, and those tires were gripping like you wouldn't believe. my old potenzas used to give up much quicker. in terms of weight, after doing my calculations of wheel weight and tire weight compared to my stock setup, i added not even a pound on the front wheels, but a good 4 pounds or so on the rear wheels, but i can't feel it on acceleration, and i'm most likely never going to track the car, so no big deal.
in terms of dropping it, it really is much worse in pics. if you see it in person, the gap isn't that bad. its the same gap that i had with the stock setup, except you can see that i have wider tread now and (especially in the rear) the new wheels fill out the wheel well better in a sense that they come out more and almost sit flush with the fender. it looks very nice and aggresive, yet OEM looking, so i really just love it. the best way to describe it is, if infiniti came out with an m3 fighter, this would be similar to what it would look like i would think, with 245s up front and 275s in the rear sitting flush with the fender with OEM looking wheels

275 on a 9" is perfectly fine.

well the front wheel is not 19x9, its 19x8.5. i don't have a close up picture, but even if i did, i don't think it would really help you. but just for advice, if i was you, i would just go with the widest possible tire that fits on that rim. i have a 275/35 on my rear rims, which are 19x9.

This is the PERFECT post! I have been searching (for the longest damn time!) for an 07/08 sedan, not lowered, 19s, and with those tire sizes! THANK YOU!
Your ride is looking clean and simple -- I like! I am not planning on lowering my car, either. No drop doesn't look bad at all.
I had a question regarding the tire sizes. Since we're not lowering our cars, I'm wondering if we can do 255/40/19 (front) and 285/35/19 (rear) to fill in the gap better? Here are the diameter specs I found using an online tire/wheel calculator:
OEM
225/50/18: 683 mm (26.9")
245/45/18: 677 mm (26.7")
Option #1 (recommended)
245/40/19: 679 mm (26.7")
275/35/19: 675 mm (26.6")
Option #2
255/40/19: 687 mm (27")
285/35/19: 683 mm (26.9")
Compared to OEM tires, Option #1 is smaller by 4 mm in the front and 2 mm in the rear. Option #2 is taller by 4 mm in the front and 6 mm in the rear.
Tire places claim with Option #1, the diameters are close enough that our traction control, ABS, etc. will not be compromised. So isn't Option #2 close enough as well???
