Stay on this forum long enough, your mind about the drop will change. Thats whats happening to me.. sadly. lol

Aesonvirus has been swayed already... lol He use to be hardset on the No drop business as well. In time my friend.. in time. Mark my words. lol I was like you before.

But now, i think, I'll do a drop next spring.
No, trust me - I WANT a drop. I would LOVE a drop, they make it look so much better! I just know I shouldn't cuz it's not the best thing for me.

And I've spent so much money on track/autox prep that I've put aside my plans for FSB, stillen roof spoiler, etc.

That is a good pic. I swear, it's so hard to actually capture the color and look of the tails in pictures. It makes the effect look less dramatic, but it actually is (to me, at least)

^ exactly, it's always so hard to get a photo where the camera (at least my point and shoot) doesn't just blend all the light together. I guess during the day is the best time to really get the contrast between red/orange

I love em! Whenever I see a USDM set with the blinker on I'm always amazed how the blinker doesn't really show up at all with the brake lights on. Not safe! haha

which luminics did you go with by the way? looks like there are a few to choose from.. i'm looking at their website now

http://www.luminicsusa.com/bulbcolor.asp?Cat=JDM+Yellow

and i'm not gonna grill you for the monster truck look.. my last two cars were dumped and i had to deal with all the usual hassle that comes with it

the g sedan is one of those cars that actually looks decent w/ the stock height.. plus the handling is already GREAT as it is.. i must be getting old because i'm not in a rush to lower it

that being said.. i started looking at prices for the eibach pro kit today.. LOL!

I did the traditional JDM yellow. However the Krypton series seems interesting - looks like just a more powerful bulb.

Haha thanks! I've realized that when compared with BMWs, our ride heights are ridiculous. If you look at a 335i Sport - the wheels completely fill up the wheel well, there's barely any wheel gap at all. I've noticed that on the 545i/550i as well. I parked next to a 330i Sport yesterday and my car literally looked like it had been lifted in comparison - we have huge wheel wells/gaps

man you're right.. it's just that i've already heard the horror stories about the sport tires wearing out quickly.. i can't imagine how much more quickly they will wear out if the car is dumped.. i am not a rich man.. i can't afford to be buying tires every 6-9 months

and i decided to go with the cuzo jdm lights.. i guess my local shop sponsors that brand

did you install yourself? was it tough?

Yeah these bridgestones don't last too long at all....

Yeah I did it myself. You have to take out the airboxes on the intake, so its a bit of a pain but not all that difficult. There's a DIY somewhere on here

It has more to do with how their fenders flare out. Actual gap should be about the same if they didn't have to flare it out and actually cut it off to accommodate wheel travel.

Although, to add to your point, my G, at stock height, has about equal (if not less) wheel gap than my previous 5.5 Gen Maxima that was dropped.

well fine mike! gotta be all technical - haha. I understand that though - we also have rolled fenders - that could have something to do with that.

I dropped off my new Stillen roof spoiler to get painted and my grille to get professionally done (it keeps fading) - so I'll have new photos of that by the end of the week. If only someone had some amazing looking Akebonos they wanted to donate to me since they aren't using them
