Question Rear Valance Overlay Question!!

Just got my Bat rear valance overlay put on yesterday and I like it, but there are two areas which I'm not sure about, I wanted to see if others who have installed the rear valance have the same issue.

Now if you look at the pics below, there are two circles in the second pic, you can see a small piece of white that was not covered completely. Now you can't really see it unless you squat down but still it's annoying me, so I've already made another order for the valance to get re-done, but I wanted to ask those who have installed this could you let me know if yours were the same or if I'm the odd one out? Also pics would help, thanks :

It should definitely cover those areas.

How high is your top edge, is it past the body line?

it can be done in a manner that wont result in those lines by the tail pipe.

I did the install for Johnnyzee and I made sure those white spots didnt show up. Just slide it down a bit next time.

good luck!

Yeah, the thing is I wasn't the one installing them . I had it taken back originally to fix my taillight overlays because the first time he installed them there were a few creased edges, but now those are fixed perfectly.

The lower valance on the other hand it was his first try, and I think he did an ok job, but I've ordered another two pairs from Andrew and I'll get him to put it on and this time I'll make sure to tell him to cover the lower areas. I was in a hurry when I left the car with him and didn't have time to explain to him to cover it from the bottom up rather than the other way around, Thanks for the feedback though atleast I now know it isn't supposed to be lik that

Boy, ordering that thing twice, you're now in the price range of just having the thing painted.
I'm still not sure if I wanna drop $100- on this thing, or if I wanna save my pennies a little bit longer and get a diffuser.

Hey, I don't see an overlap in the middle.
Is your overlay one piece?

Nope it's two piece , you see it if you get really close up which is good because I was a bit worried about it showing, even in the sun you can't see it.

Yeah I was looking at the diffuser as well, but honestly I haven't liked any of the ones I've seen. Also the reason why I'm going to be re-ordering is because I don't know of anyone over here that has a decent paint shop, there probably is because I've seen one or two cars with custom paint jobs that look good, but I dunno where they are. So for now I'll just stick with the overlay.

Oh yeah and I have to replace my car in 3 years as well so it'll be nice to be able to put it back to stock.....or as close to stock as possible.

yeah the install quality actually looks really good!

He just miscalculated the lower part. but no big deal! it can be done to perfection next time.

^ Already sent you an e-mail yesterday and you replied today, thanks

Oh and I'm not sure if you remember the first time I tried to put on the taillight overlays the installer cut the edges which resulted in some creasiness, but not anymore, I got him to redo them and they came out perfect, now I just have to do the same for the bottom valance.
