Going to attempt to paint the stock rims this week. What kind of paint did you use?? and to prep all you did was scuff down the wheels??

Eug why not get your rims professionally powdercoated?

http://www.totalinspecpowdercoating.com/index.html

I think its 50 bucks per rim.

Something to consider.

Yes I was considering getting them professionally done. But why not do it yourself and save 200$.

Because the work you will do yourself will nowhere be near a profesionally powdercoated rims will be. Trust me. Not just from an aesthetic point of view, but from quality. This is more crucial especially when it comes to rims.

Ive repainted my grille twice now... and its chipping again. Your gonna have to keep redoing it again and again...and still, a brand new painted grill or rim will not look as good as something done professionally.

Just my personal experience. Just thought I'd share.

Just looking out for ya!

I dont want you to screw up your rims!! When I look at my grille, im not completely happy with it. Maybe someday I'll get it professionally done.

But yes, seeing those 17 stockers all black is hot. I have them on now actually. Im already running my winters.

took some time to call around today. Found a place 15 mins from my house that charges 30$ per wheel. Dropped them off today they should be done tomorrow afternoon. I have the same style wheels as kbg5.
