As far as cars I believe the TL & RL on the acura line up. I don't think the front of the new acura's is as bad that the ugly TL rear end though.. what did they do to that thing.

It got raped by the Accord and new mercedes and left to die in a field.

That car is hacked.

Did you know Acura dealers have started offering to colour match the beak for free? I'd be pissed right now if I owned and Acura dealer. They are losing soooo many potential customers just because their cars are one of the ugliest things on the road.

I had no idea that they are offering to color match now.. curious to see if it would do any good. Yet to see a color matched so far but I guess they are doing all they can to salvage them now huh. I'm sure the current body style won't last too long at this rate.

Here's something.

Total Acura sales tallied 7,856 units, down 32.4 percent compared to last year.

January sales for Acura sedans, which includes the all-new 2009 TL with sales of 2,317 units, totaled 4,931 units, down 16.9 percent from January 2008.

I doubt that's the "recession" since those numbers are 2008-2009

It doesn't matter either way, since i would rather take a 100hp G over those ugly acura snow ploughs.

The front is ugly, the rear is ugly and the interior is just horrendous with the quizillion buttons.

What were they thinking. What an epic fail.

Only thing Acura has is their interiors. But other than that, Acura is failing and their sales further prove it. They build "sport sedans" with nose heavy FWD drivetrains, but finally wake up, offer an AWD system (FWD-biased mind you) with a 4000lb curb weight on the new TL. Acura has been around for more than 2 decades, and they have not released a single RWD sedan.

IMO Honda/Acura has one of the worst design teams in the industry that is completely destroying their entire line up one by one.

That does not say much in this economy. Almost all the car sales are down by 20-30%. How is the G doing compare to last year? That might give us a clear view.
