2nd GEN G35 AUTO ShiftBoot Installed with pix!!!
Finally got around to finishing up the new shift boot that covers up the whole shift plate, pretty easy to install but the only issue is with the shift plate plastic piece that goes through the aluminum finish it won't fit back in as tight because of the new material that is around the shift plate but you can't notice it at all once installed and it doesn't affect the driving at all I also include a few pieces of CLEAR fabric double sided tape that you put onto the sides of the shift plate so that you can take the boot and wrap it around it nice and snug.
NOW ONTO THE PIX!
Heres a picture indicating 2 stars where theres a plastic piece that kind of snaps onto the shift plate to hold it in place, you would have to pry these apart a bit to get out the shift plate. A lot easier to see once you have the piece taken apart.

I found the perfect leather for the m45 ****, I'm going to buy the "lamb"skin leather it has more of a buff/matte finish just like the **** and has very little to no grain/texture to the appearance its just smooth. I'll keep you up dated on when I pick some up, I do carry black suede that looks great also but it all depends on what you like man
