Talking 07 G35S First Mod - Plasti-Dip Midnight Grille

Hi all! Had my G for about 3 weeks now and finally decided to pull the trigger on a simple mod: the Plasti-Dip Midnight Grille! Was only planning to get the paint today, but that mod-itch just got me.

Used this other post for the grille removal:

https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...e-removal.html

Then washed, dried, and painted the grille (applied 3 coats):

Overall, I'm happy with the mod and the fact I saved hundreds of dollars!

look really good. I may jump on the plast-dip soon. Can you post some further shots so that the whole car can be seen?

I don't think that's a Midnight Grille. Midnight Grille is different. That was the first mod on my G too. I call it, Fully Black Grille

Love it, I don't like the midnight grill too much, I hate the chrome slits on the top and bottom of the grill

Looks great. I just did the Plasti-Dip grill this weekend too and it's my only mod. We have the same color and wheels...I forgot to take pictures so it's like looking at my car, thanks!

Very nice, I plastidip'd my grill a couple weeks ago and finally got around to putting it on. I'm loving the matte black look. Will have to see how it holds up, but in any case plastidip is easier to maintain than having to repaint.
