Seems like a PITA to remove/reinstall every time for a smog check

No need if you're not tripping the CEL light. When you get the inspections they only look for the CEL light, good thing ODBII won't trip if you have test pipes on

It'll become audible with stock exhaust.


I got the Invidia Gemini with FI HFC. I was going to pick these up, but i realized i didnt need to

 

Actually I have the stock exhaust! How much sound you guys think I would gain?! And I heard something about some rasp on stock exhuast!! The Smog Check is not yearly! So far I had the car for 2 years and none yet! Maybe next year! I guess it depends how new the car is! I don't know! Yes Wain! I am cheap like that! Actually I am getting these for free, but I gotta do EvilMonkey's headlights which is a pain in the butt!!!

 

Actually 6-8hp sounds pretty good to me!! You sure about this!!?

 

Do it already!! You'll only rasp with cheap test pipes or unresonated on stock exhaust from what i noticed.

I had test pipes on a stock exhaust and the car isn't loud. Now I have a Invidia exhaust with test pipes and surprisingly not really loud either, great sound. Question how do you get the light to turn off?

 

I am not aiming for anything load but did you noticed a difference in sound?! On the stock exhuast?! Noticeable?! Apexi could help on this! He is gonna help me once I get them!

Get an 1.5-2 inch non-fouler and put some steel wools inside.



On a side note, here is a photo I took with my iPhone today... before I lowered a little bit more and before I put my GT30s back on.



You know... I actually like those coupe 19s a lot. I just wish they were 9.5 and 10.5.

OHhhh and did I mention that I cleaned my GT30s today? lol

Car has a more of a raspy sound. It sounds good. I didn't think it was that noticeable.
